Coach Education Courses

Ulster Badminton will be running the following Shuttle Time & BWF Level 1 coach Education courses on the following dates & venues

Shuttle Time Courses:

• Sunday 25th November 2018. 10am-4pm-Queens Leisure Centre, Holywood. Co Down
• Saturday 19th January 2019. 11am-5pm- Melvin Sports Centre, Strabane. Co Tyrone
• Sunday 20th January 2019. 10am-4pm- Lisburn Racquets Club, Lisburn. Co Antrim

What is Shuttle time? The Shuttle time qualification is designed to be the first step on the ladder to becoming a coach. It is aimed at assistant coaches in clubs, and school teachers who wish to deliver badminton in their schools. Shuttle Time will give participants a basic knowledge of the coaching process.

BWF Level 1 Course:

The venue will be Lisburn Racquets Club, Lisburn. Co Antrim and the course will be run over the dates below:

• 3rd&4th November 2018- 9am-5pm
• 12th&13th January 2019. 9am-5pm

What is BWF Level 1? This is the second step on the coaching qualification ladder. The course is designed for those people who have a basic level of badminton experience and knowledge, who wish to coach at school or club level.
