Ulster Badminton Clubmark
Ulster Badminton’s quality standard for sports clubs.
Ulster Badminton and Sport Northern Ireland are working together to deliver this sports club accreditation programme. The programme aims to identify, develop, accredit and recognise high quality sports clubs and the contribution that they make to the development of sport in Northern Ireland. Sport Northern Ireland value the essential and significant role that sports clubs play in the development of sport.
Sports clubs make an impact in sports development by providing outlets for participation, while also providing quality environments for talented young athletes to develop. The competitive opportunities offered by clubs are yet another key opportunity for participation and development. Sports clubs can achieve Clubmark accredited status by meeting minimum operating standards in the areas of:
- Effective Management
- Quality Coaching
- Competition Safety in Sport
Ulster Badminton’s Clubmark award is connected with the Badminton Ireland Club accreditation programme and all Ulster clubs are able to continue their development in the BI programme once Ulster status has been achieved.
- Seen as a club of best practice, complying with National Governing Body and Sport NI standards
- Support and development for improving club structures and operations
- Sport NI framed certificate
- Sport NI Banner
- Use of the Clubmark NI logo for all club documentation and clothing
- £300 equipment pack from Ulster Badminton on completion of the programme
