Masters Forza Nations Cup 2018

Ireland will be sending a Master Team to the Forza Nations Cup, 1-3rd June, France,  with a number of Masters players represented from Ulster.

The Forza Nations Cup is a doubles only competition were each team will play 1.WD, 1.MD and 2.MxD in each age group: +40, +45, +50, +55, +60.

Each age group can include a minimum of 2 women and 2 men and a maximum of 3 women and 3 men, so a team can comprise of between 10 women and 10 men and 15 women and 15 men. Ireland have selected the following players:

• 40's Men- Jonathan Perry (Greenwell Street) & Andrew Fenner
• 40's Women- Gillian Grimes(Greenwell Street) , Jayne Orr (Greenwell Street)  & Georgina Ward

• 45's Men- Shane Guildea & Willie Stevenson
• 45's Women- Siobhan Grehan & Sylvia Campion

• 50's Men- Ian Young (Academy) & Simon Thompson (Ballyclare)
• 50's Women- Brenda Murray Flynn & Julia Dunlop

• 55's Men- Kieran McMahon (Academy) & Gerard Kenna
• 55's Women- Pam Peard (Academy) & Sian Williams

• 60's Men- Joe Wright & Joe Abbott
• 60's Women-  Christine Graham (Academy), Mary Bird & Doreen McClements (Alpha)
