Commonwealth Games

Ulster Badminton are disappointed that Badminton has not been chosen as one of the 10 sports for the reduced 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

After a successful 2022 Games in Birmingham with a Top 5-8 placing, one of Northern Ireland’s best ever Badminton finishes, it is disappointing that there is not an opportunity to build on this success in Glasgow & inspire the next generation of athletes. We Hope Badminton will return in the next edition of the Games and provide Northern Irish Players the great experience & opportunity to perform at a Commonwealth Games.
