UK Para Badminton Championships 2023

This years UK Para Badminton Championships was hosted by Badminton Scotland in Glasgow City Council’s superb Tollcross Leisure Centre.

The event started on Friday and ran over 3 days from Friday 24th November to conclusion of matches and play on Sunday 26th November.

Ulster had 2 players represented in the Irish Team by Chris Stewart and Michael Smith, with the Team also made up by Martin Enright, Dean McCarthy, Melanie Griffith and Kerrie McCarthy.

The Team embraced the great atmosphere returning triumphantly with a host of Gold and Silver medals

🥈Silver- WH1&2 Mixed Doubles Chris Stewart(Ulster/Ireland)Fiona Christie(Scotland)

Ulster Badminton contributed to a combined total of 5 Golds & 5 Silvers across the events, a great Team effort and medal haul!
