    Interprovincials 2023


    The Ulster U17 Team took home the title at the 2023 Interprovincials with a number of the other Age groups teams coming a close second after a number of close Games and Matches. 

    U17 Event- Saturday 1st April 

    The Ulster U17 had a great win by the narrowest of Margins over & a solid win against Munster to take the U17 Title.

    U17 team- Rhys Mcauley, Christopher Chee, Jamie Blakeman, Jerald Baiju, Aiden Biju Joy, Kimberly Pearson, Zoe Kearon, Hannah Magee, Sarah Macbeth, Amy Russell

    U13 Event- Saturday 1st April

    A young U13 Team put in a great performance in their first match narrowly losing out the Munster. Leinster proved too strong a team in their second match but great to see the team performing well.

    U15 Event- Saturday 1st April

    The U15 Ulster team had a tough opening Match against Leinster, with the score could have been tight but for a few 3 set loses. A very good Team perfomrance against Munster sealed a runner up Spot.

    U15 Team- Jeffrey Rong, Corey Chambers, Conor Blakeman, Kaden Tang, Albert Martin, Callum Macbeth, Amy Moore, Emily Maxwell, Ella Cheung, Kate Henderson, Alexandra Bell, Ella Thompson

    Coaches- Naomi Darragh & Jonny Perry 

    A Grade- Sunday 2nd April

    The A Grade Team only had 1 match against Munster. It was extremely tight match with Munster pipping it with 5 matches going to 3 sets and 2 of the matches finishing 24-22 in the Final game.

    Grade A Team - Jack Armstrong, Rory Comer, Curtis Presho, Ryan MacBeth, Jack MacBeth, Paige Woods, Chloe Woods, Laura Comer, Laura Bell

     Masters 40+- Sunday 2nd April

    The 40+ team had 2 very close matches including a number of 3 set matches across both ties, but it was Leinster & Munster who narrowly came out on top

    40+ Team- Jayne  Orr, Gillian Grimes,  Karen Heaney, Joan McCandles, Laura McGill, Ian MacBeth, Stephen Morrison,  Raymond Grimes, Steven Mcminn and Steven Wainwright. 

    Masters 50+- Sunday 2nd April

    The 50+ team only have 1 match against a strong Leinster Team, with the Leinster Team putting in a solid performance to take the title.

    50+ Team- Karen Ballantine, Heather Harron,  Heather Sullivan, Patricia Downey,  Pam Peard, Michael Turkington,  Graham Henderson, Nelson McDowell,  Rod Scullion and Brian Moore
