Badminton Ireland Awards Dinner 2022
Badminton Ireland held their Annual Awards Evening at the Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown, Dublin with a number of Ulster member's winning some prestigious awards.
Ulster Badminton Council Member & Treasurer Tony Clarke won the Ulster Volunteer of the Year. A well deserved award for Tony through his continued Volunteer work within the Ulster Badminton Council & events.
After a great Year for the club on many fronts, Raphoe Badminton Club won club of the Year. The club has went from strength to strength this season both a Junior & Senior level with a number of new members joining the club and their current members performing excellently in provincial & National competitions across all age groups and grades.
Kim Magee won the Women in Sport Award for her excellent work within Raphoe Badminton Club's Women In Sport programme and also helping developing Badminton in the Donegal/Londonderry Area.
Pam Peard shared the Masters Player of the Year with her Partner Sian Williams after winning a Bronze Medal at the European Senior Championships along with a number of Irish provincial titles.
