    104th All England Seniors

The 104th All England Seniors took place 1-3 April in Hatfiled with some excellent results for our Ulster Masters players.

Masters World Champions Pam Peard &  Sian Williams took the title in the Over 55 Women's Doubles with Keiran McMahon wining a silver medal in the Over 60 Mixed Doubles.

Progressing to the Semi finals as group winners, Pam & Sian got a bye into the final where they faced England pair Crompton & Gillard. Pam & Sian took the opening games quite comfortably 21-15. The Irish pair were forced to work harder in the second set but came out on top of a tight second game 21-19 to take the Over 55 Women's Doubles Title!

Keiran McMahon was playing with his Dutch partner Maureen Oskam & were placed in Group C of the Over 60 Mixed Doubles. After 3 hard fought wins to top their group, they progressed to the Semi Final to face Staden & Armer from England. In another tough match it was McMahon & Oskam who took the deciding set 21-16 to progress to the final. Unfortunately it was a match to far for the pair in the final losing out to Joyner & Eyles but a great run to the final and a well earned silver medal.
