Return to Badminton - Northern Ireland
Following on from the recent announcements from the NI Executive and the subsequent easing of restriction all badminton activity can resume from the 24th May, however, must follow the latest Badminton Ireland Return to Badminton Guidelines for Northern Ireland.

A quick overview of the BI Return to Play Guidelines include:
- Normal play, including singles and doubles, may resume
- operate in ‘pod of 8’ players per court, and to keep these consistent throughout this period.
- Same shuttle can be used within a pod of 8, however, Players should avoid excessively handling shuttles and should use their racquets to pick up shuttles where possible.
- Physical distancing should be observed throughout the period of play and entering and exiting the court. Players should avoid changing ends during this phase.
- Players must refrain from handshakes and high fives
- Arranging a court time for players in advance is mandatory, preferably via a court booking system, website, app, or phone. This will assist in managing physical distancing and contact tracing should it be required subsequently.
- Group Coaching can resume within the following guidelines - A Coach can work with a maximum of 8 players under the age of 12, and a maximum of 10 players over the age of 12, provided physical distancing can be enforced and there is another adult present in the room.
