Coaching Workshop- 23rd September 2020
Ulster Badminton are delighted to announced that we are hosting an online Coaching Workshop with former Great Britain international player Nathan Robertson. Nathan is a former World No.1 in Mixed Doubles and World No.4 in Men’s Doubles and competed at the top of the world game. He achieved many significant accomplishments in his career including, World and European Championship Gold Medals, Gold at 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games and a Silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Since retiring from playing Nathan has made the transition into coaching working within the Senior Badminton England Performance working at the highest level of the game. Nathan will be Following up on some areas from his Coaching Workshop we hosted in March 2019 and introduction some other new interesting themes.
Theme's for the workshop include:
- Coaching Communication Techniques
- Balance of Training Content
- What we are seeing at 'Top level' and how to make it relevant to various coaching/playing levels.
We will finish off the workshop with a Q&A on the workshop theme's and all things Badminton!
