Munster U13 & U17 Open

The Munster U13 & U17 Open were played at Limerick university on 2-3rd November and proved a very successful competition across both age groups for Ulster. Paige and Chloe Woods took home the girls doubles title in the U17 event in an all Ulster final against Laura Comer & Laura Bell, Laura Comer also won the U17 Mixed doubles and Jeffery Rong winning the U13 Boys Doubles title.

There were a number of good performances across both age groups achieving medal positions. Jeffery also reaching the final of the U13 Boys singles & Mixed Doubles , Stuart McCollum had a very productive tournament and took home a silver medal in both U17 Boys Doubles & Mixed Doubles, while also reaching the Semi final of the Boys Singles.  Donegal’s Amber Buchanan reached the Semi final of both the U13 Girls singles and Doubles . Paige Woods had a good run in the U17 Girls singles reaching the Semi final.  

Great to see all the training within the Performance Squads, County Squads and individual clubs is paying off, Well Done!
