Participation Officer- New addition to the staff Team!
We are delighted to appoint Conor Hickland as our new Participation Officer!
With over 20 years of Badminton coaching in High performance, Talent & Schools, Conor brings a wealth on knowledge to the role.
Conor has served as the lead coach for the Ulster Senior Team, guiding the team throughout their participation in the English Senior County Championships, one of our lead coaches in the Ulster Badminton Schools programme & is currently the Emerging Performance Squad Lead coach.
He has been recognised for his contributions to coaching excellence, receiving the Sport NI Performance Pathway Coach of the Year Award in 2018 and the Ulster Badminton Development Coach of the Year Award in 2026.
We look forward to welcoming Conor into the Ulster Badminton Team and help further develop the badminton Participation opportunities in schools, Clubs and community environments.
