About the Club
The badminton club was established in the 1920′s and has an adult, ladies, youth and junior sections. The club meets for practice on Mondays and Thursdays (8 pm approx). Junior badminton for children of primary school age (8-12) is held on Thursday evening from 6-8 pm.
Youth badminton is held on Saturday evenings (8-10 pm) for secondary school children. Recently a ladies badminton group was set up and running successfully on a Thursday morning from 10.30 to 12.30. It is open to ladies who wish to play non competitive badminton.
The club participates in Donegal and North West leagues and in various tournaments through out the season.
